Walnut Taco Meat
3 1/2 cups walnuts, finely chopped or pulsed in a food processor
3/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes (or 1/2 cup tomato paste)
2 tablespoon gluten free tamari
2 teaspoon water
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoon nutritional yeast
3/4 cup cilantro
1/8 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
Let’s get cookin’ ~ good lookin’
Combine water, sun dried tomatoes & tamari in a blender and blend until a thick paste is formed. Add more water if needed.
Remove paste from blender and place in a medium-sized bowl.
Add spices to the blended paste and work with your hands until well incorporated.
Add walnuts and cilantro and mix well until combined.
Add this yummy protein to your favorite bowls, tacos, burritos, and sooo much more!
